Blackthorn Music Festival Do’s & Don’ts

We’re  pretty  chilled  out  here  at  Blackthorn,  however  there  are  a  few  things  we’d  love  you  to  do  and  not  do  to  make  everyone’s  stay  that  little  bit  more  special

Bring:
Small camping stove
Tent
Sleeping bag and extra blankets
It gets chilly at night
Wellies
Torch
Water proofs – Fingers crossed they won’t be needed
Sun cream
Medication – (prescription only)
Spare clothes
First aid kit
Money

The bar offers card payment facilities
We recommend taking enough cash for the weekend
Food vendors may not have card payment facilities
Bar operates a token system (purchased by card or cash)
Camping / Fold-up chairs
Dogs allowed
Must be kept on a lead
Owners must clean up after them
Dogs must NOT deficate / urinate in barn areas

No alcohol to be brought onsite
– This is strictly in accordance with the rules of our alcohol license
No glass allowed
No illegal substances or legal highs
No fires or BBQs
No sound system
All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult
Unruly behaviour is not accepted
No Ruck Sacks

Please note: We do perform random bag searches at blackthorn

Parking is in the village (SK6 5HH), there is a shuttle running from the car park to the festival site.
Weekend, camping ticket holders have the option to park on site (limited space) for an additional £10. This must be pre booked with the office on 07340 809204

On site parking (pre book only) is in the field adjacent to the camping field – parking next to tents is not permitted.

Driving off site on Monday will be at scheduled set times
