Freeda are a five piece indie rock band from Manchester UK, comprising of members Sean Rowles (Guitar & Vocals) Callum Hignett (Lead Guitar) Cameron Meekums-Spence (Guitar) Adam Barton (bass) and Adam Jackson (Drums).

Working with the production duo Sugar House (Viola Beach, Pale Waves) the band has released three singles; ‘Plug It In’, ‘Go Home’ and their new single ‘Plead’.

In 2018 Freeda travelled to Paris to headline the famous Le Truskel Club, performed at Dot 2 Dot festival and played in front of over 3000 people on the Cotton Clouds Festival main stage. The band then finished the year playing their biggest hometown show at the 02 Ritz.

In February 2019 Freeda released their latest single ‘Plead’ which led to airplay on BBC Introducing, XS Manchester and Amazing Radio. In the same month they also played their biggest support slot with Glass Caves at the 900 capacity Manchester Academy 2, cementing their status as one of Manchester’s fastest emerging bands.

Freeda’s third single ‘Plead’ is again produced by iconic production duo Sugar House and will be released 7th February. The track marks the band’s first step in a new musical direction that incorporates their customary energetic indie style with more melodic pop elements.
